CAST

Lucas Wotkowski

"Jules"

A native of West Virginia, Lucas started acting at the age of 10 and has since performed with various theatre companies nationwide. He is an alumnus of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, graduating their Studio Program in 2003.

His film experience includes roles in numerous NYU student films, and Buffalonickel Films is proud to have him take the lead as "Jules" in Blood Son.

 

Robert Hancock

"Antique Shopkeeper"

Robert Hancock most recently was seen in "Twitch" at the Slamdance Film Festival and on the Independent Film Channel and will star in the upcoming thriller "Edora Libby." He can be seen as Robert Caro in the acclaimed Off-Broadway production of Boozy, and has performed in regional and New York theater in "Richard II,""The Taming of the Shrew,""Playing Atigone,""Metamora," and "The Kitchen Staff" at The Flea, among many others.

Originally trained as a musician, Hancock has sung over 20 leading roles in opera and has given the world premiers of nine contemporary music compositions, five of which were written for him. He has recorded for CRI Records and National Public Radio.

 

Julie M. Finch

"Teacher"

Julie M. Finch can be seen as Lorna in the upcoming short "The Soulless" ("Sin Alma"), to be released this fall. Also directed by Cruz Angeles, was her role as the mother in "The Show," seen on PBS, Best Shorts, the spring of 2005.

Other film roles are the post office clerk in "Engine Trouble," with Christopher Walken and Celine du Tartre, directed by Brad Barnes (Showtime), and as Helga in the feature "This Corrosion" directed by Mitch McCabe.

NY theatre experience includes Mrs. Yang in "Good Woman of Setzuan," directed by Ann Bowen. Julie is a member of the Michael Chekov Theatre Co. (NY).

 

Mandi Bedbury

"Mother Christianson"

Originally from Minnesota, Mandi holds a BA Degree in Dance from the University of Iowa. She is an accomplished dance director, choreographer and player and has turned her sights to acting and print work, recently starring in several student films and print advertisements.

 

Joseph Somma

"Jim Christianson"

Joseph has worked in theatre, film, and television, with his most recent work in the Off-Broadway production of Richard Vertere's Rockaway Boulevard at the Lion Theatre, where he starred as the infamous Eddie Parisi from Broad Channel. Before that he was seen at the Lambs Theatre starring as Luke Lavello in Leonard Melfis' award winning "Holloween." Film credits include New York Film Festival Winner "Act of Contrition" and Top Spin Productions'"The Marathon," in which he starred.

Some of his commercial credits include Audi, Asics and Marine Midland Bank.

 

Cash Tilton

"Principal"

Cash Tilton has worked at venues that include Main Street Theater in Houston, Houston Shakespeare Festival, Timber Lake Playhouse in Illinois, Northern Stage in Vermont, and Interborough Repertory Theatre in New York City.

Favorite roles include Elyot in "Private Lives," Henry Carr in "Travesties," Euelpides in "The Birds," Grumio in "The Taming of the Shrew," and most recently Perchikhin in the East Coast premiere of "Gorky's Philistines" and Vince McMahon in "Blitzkrieg: The Hasidic Professional Wrestling Musical."

He is also the co-Artistic Director of Chameleon Theatre Co., Ltd., which hopes to open its new home in Westchester County in 2006.

Paul Coughlan

A New York native, Paul has been featured in many of the television shows produced in NYC, as well numerous commercials, independent short and full length features. His most notable independent starring role was in "Ten Benny" starring Adrien Brody and Frank Vincent. Paul also starred in the Off Off Broadway production of "Broke" and worked with the Queens Players theatre group.

He will be featured in the films "Dead Serious" and "Stairwell" premiering in 2006, and will be starring in "Pizza With Bullets" with Ray Liotta, Jennifer Tilly and Tony Curtis.

Paul graduated from Queens College with a Theater Arts degree and received a certificate in filmmaking from The New York Film Academy.

Alan Tavarez

"Rico"

Alan Tavarez has studied at T. Schreiber Studios under Peter Miner and at TVI Actors Studio In NY. Other roles include Jerome in "Reflection," Andre in "Linger," and Prophet in "Death in the Family."

 

Richard Giambalvo

"Tony"

Giambalvo is enrolled as a student in The School for Film and Television (a 2 Year Acting Conservatory) and has previously studied Theatre at the College of Charleston and with various coaches across New York. He is trained and experienced in voice, theatre and film acting and has modeled for Wilhelmina Models. Currently, Giambalvo focuses his talent on acting for film, with his contribution in Blood Son marking his first performance in an independent short.

Aldous Davidson

"Manny"

Aldous is a 2003 graduate of the Film and Television program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He has studied with NYU's most respected acting professors as well as top casting directors in NYC. His credits include various independent features as well as a slew of NYU and Columbia short films. He is currently the lead in the NYU senior thesis film "Shift," which shoots summer 2005.
